Tour HeartPrint Home Care with us Oct. 4th
This will be a field trip, and we will not be meeting at Alley Rose this morning. Please join us as we visit HeartPrint Home Care.
In 2002, HeartPrint Home Care began in Kearney, Nebraska with the love, compassion, and effort of owners Don and Kathy Ulrich. They began with the mission of helping others driving them. Kathy has many years of experience helping the elderly. She observed over the years that people were not always happy with moving out of their home in order to receive assistance with daily living needs. HeartPrint Home Care was her answer to those who wanted to safely remain at home and receive the help they needed.

Community Action Food Bank
Community Action Partnership of Mid-Nebraska is helping to provide rural communities access to food.
According to the 2016 Community Action of Nebraska State and Regional Report, 1 in 3 individuals reported issues with affordable utilities, food, and clothing. Food deserts continue to be a pressing need in our rural areas where there are few to no local grocery stores for a considerable distance.
With this in mind, Community Action Partnership of Mid-Nebraska is excited to launch our Mobile Produce Pantry in Buffalo County. This initiative is in partnership with Feeding America – Food Bank for the Heartland with funding support through the Walmart Foundation, the Community Services Block Grant, and Kearney Area Community Foundation. The Mobile Produce Pantry will utilize our refrigerated truck to travel to various Buffalo County communities providing fresh produce to families and seniors in need at no charge.
